City Mobility, a specialist disability business based in Inverness and covering an area over 41,000Km2 from Shetland to Speyside and Aberdeen to Ardnamurchan, is celebrating having its 200th customer on the Motability Powered Wheelchair and Scooter (PWS) Scheme.
The Motability PWS Scheme gives people with a disability the opportunity to simply exchange part, or all, of their mobility allowance to lease a new scooter or powered wheelchair.
Mrs Hafiz, from Dingwall, City Mobility’s 200th Motability customer, said she chose a lease scooter through the Motability Scheme because it gave her great peace of mind.
“I love my new scooter and my lease is all inclusive, which means breakdown assistance, tyre and battery replacement, servicing, maintenance and insurance are all included in the price I pay.” she said.
Carol Elliot, Manager at City Mobility, said “The Motability Scheme offers people with a disability the freedom to drive away a reliable new scooter or powered wheelchair suitable for their individual needs. Our team is on hand to discuss the different requirements of customers and provide them with all the information they need to choose a new scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.”
City Mobility is the only Motability PWS Scheme dealer north of the central belt of Scotland and is Scotland’s 3rd largest PWS Scheme dealer. As well as providing lease equipment through the scheme they also sell, service and repair, new and second hand mobility equipment.
