Boot Hoists
The Autochair Smart Lifter range of car boot hoists enable you to lift a mobility device, such as a wheelchair, scooter or powerchair, easily and quickly into your car boot at the touch of a button. This eliminates the need for the wheelchair/scooter user or family member to struggle with getting the device into a vehicle or car when wanting to venture further afield.
Within the Smart Lifter range there are three different hoists to lift all types of scooters and chairs - including the most powerful hoist on the market capable of lifting a 200kg powerchair - that suit a range of mobility vehicles. The hoist you will need will depend on the size and weight of your mobility device and the vehicle you are wanting to lift into.
Please note - you may need to keep rear seat(s) folded down to accommodate a hoist and mobility equipment depending on the space available and equipment size. If you have a false floor on your boot this will need to be cut to anchor the hoist to the car body and you will lose access and storage space from the actual boot floor.

BraunAbility Chair Topper
Load, transport and retrieve your folding frame wheelchair using a roof top box. When you get seated in your car, the Chair Topper will take care of your wheelchair for you. When you’re ready to leave the car, the Chair topper will bring your wheelchair to you. In between it is safely stored in the weatherproof roof top box. It’s a great solution for independent drivers as well as passengers.
